Affiliate Disclosure
As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.
FieldTechPicks is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com.
What that means for you
- When you click a "Check price on Amazon" button or another Amazon link on this site and then buy something, Amazon may pay me a small commission.
- You don't pay anything extra. The price on Amazon is the same whether you use my link or not.
- Amazon links on this site are marked as sponsored links for search engines.
How it affects what I recommend
It doesn't. I recommend gear based on what fits the job: specs, reliability, how it's managed, and what I've seen in the field. I'll point out a product's weak spots even when it's one I link to, and I'll tell you when a cheaper option is good enough.
- Every product page says whether I've personally installed that model or whether it's a spec-based pick.
- I don't post invented reviews or claim testing I haven't done.
- I don't show prices, because Amazon prices change constantly. Always check the current price and seller on Amazon before you buy.
- When a listing is sold by a third-party seller rather than Amazon or the manufacturer, I say so on the product page.
Free products and sponsorships
I don't accept payment to feature a product. If a manufacturer ever sends me a product for free, I'll say so clearly on that product's page.
